Where better to experience the drama of Bach's St. Matthew Passion on Good Friday than in the evocative setting of Coventry Cathedral, with the ruins of the mediaeval cathedral visible through the great glass West screen? The performance will be staged ’in the round’ with the story vividly depicted as the principal characters step forward to highlight their role in the action. A memorable evening not to be missed! Refreshments will be available during the interval from 7.20 to 8.00pm, and the performance will finish at 10.00pm. |
